Palace of Time: A Sculptural Exhibition Space

Unveiling the Intersection of Art and Design

What sets the Palace of Time apart is its innovative approach to showcasing the Muusa furniture brand. The entire exhibition hall is transformed into a monumental sculpture, creating a visual tension that captivates visitors. The space itself becomes a work of art, enhancing the displayed products and immersing guests in a classical atmosphere.

Constructed with meticulous attention to detail, the Palace of Time stands 21 meters long, 14 meters wide, and 5 meters high. Each component, including the walls and roof, was fabricated in a factory workshop and transported to the exhibition site for assembly. This careful process ensured that the final presentation aligned perfectly with the original design.

The Palace of Time not only showcases the aesthetic value of the Muusa brand but also offers a rich and engaging display experience. The combination of space construction, lighting design, and captivating content creates a harmonious and immersive environment. This innovative approach challenges conventional exhibition norms and demonstrates the potential for art, venue, and emotion to intersect with business.

The project, which took place from mid-July to the end of July 2022, was exhibited at the Shenzhen SZCW. The Palace of Time represents a significant milestone in the exploration of monument and installation sculpture as a means of exhibition design. It offers a fresh perspective on the balance between art and commerce, pushing the boundaries of creative expression.

The production and assembly process presented its fair share of challenges. However, through the expertise and collaboration of the construction team, the Palace of Time was successfully brought to life, showcasing the perfect display effect envisioned by Yuewen Yang.

Recognized for its ingenuity and creativity, the Palace of Time was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2023 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious accolade celebrates designs that embody resourcefulness, technical skill, and a commitment to improving quality of life.
